The rogue  MI6 and CIA overthrew Sukarno not just because he said he hated imperialism. But he as elected President of Indonesia, implemented anti-imperialist policy. Such as nationalizing western assets in the country. Such as land reform to distribute land from big landlords to millions of landless farmers.

Sukarno was also supportive of the Indonesian Communist Party PKI, which had more than 10 million members, the largest in the non-communist world. Both the US and UK were concerned that countries in SE Asia would turn Communist, like falling dominoes.

 If you have ever  wondered why Washington and the CIA overthrew Indonesia's Sukarno in 1965 and drowned  the country in blood: 1 million killed in the aftermath, courtesy of CIA kill-list-order. 

Maybe he was "undemocratic"? Maybe he was genociding somebody? 

 No, actually, he was anti-the-genocides that Western powers had visited on their colonies for hundreds years.

Sukarno had organized the Bandung Conference. On April 18 to 24, 1955, twenty-nine representatives of nations from Africa and Asia came together in Bandung, Indonesia,

 to promote African and Asian economic coalitions and decolonization.. 

And what happened almost immediately?

U.S intervened in Indonesia, 1957-1958.

Sukarno protested in front of United Nation. His speech was uncompromising. So the  CIA took over his country in 1965 with bloody-proxy butcher Suharto.

Sukarno at UN: " "I hate imperialism. I detest colonialism. And I fear the consequences of their last bitter struggle for life. We are determined, that our nation, and the world as a whole, shall not be the play thing of one small corner of the world"

The mother and step-father of Barack hussein Obama lived in Indonesia at that time, and they were elbow-deep in the mass killings and pogroms of the Year Of Living Dangerously, when around 2 million, mainly Chinese-Indonesians were killed.

Imagine the impact that CIA-agent-Mom (Anne Dunham) and CIA-asset Lolo Soetoro had, on the small boy who grew up to be Drone Emperor.
