Apparently Russia and China have been dumping US treasury bonds. China's holdings of US government debt have fallen to their lowest level since February 2017. Question is, how long until the US empire just bankrupts itself if Russia and China sell off all their US treasuries?
It is possible that a massive sell off will force more money borrowing and more printing by the US. Such a scenario will force other countries to disinvest in US treasuries after a massive devaluation.
